The aim of the thesis will be to analyse the role of psychology in managerial practice and empirically verify the approach of managers to employee motivation. The theoretical part will define managerial psychology as an essential discipline for effective leadership, team building, and managing work-related stress. The empirical investigation will be conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey on a sample of 30 managers. The survey results will show whether managers utilize motivation to increase performance and whether they consider salary to be the most important stimulating factor. A key finding will be the extent of psychological knowledge application in the motivational process, which will be evident in the managers' interest in employees' personal lives and the presence of formalized, individualized motivational programs. Based on the findings, the thesis will recommend systematic preparation and individualization of motivational programs and the strategic integration of teamwork into the stimulation process to enhance organizational effectiveness.
