Abstract

The crime of influence trafficking is one of the most frequent corruption offenses in Romania. In this study the author analyzes the crime of influence trafficking in the Romanian criminal law in a classic approach. So, the author analyses the object, the subjects, the objective and the subjective aspects of the crime of influence trafficking. The relationship of the crime of influence trafficking with other crimes, such as misrepresentation or complicity in bribery, is also analyzed. At the same time, the author presents a large national judicial practice regarding the crime of influence trafficking.
