The work focuses on the relationship bond in Generation Z. We investigated differences between gender, age categories and family status of the family from which the respondents came. The research sample consists of students of the gymnasium in Nové Zámky (N=95) in the age range of 18-20 years. We used the Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI) questionnaire. A statistically significant difference in age groups was between 18-year-old and 19-year-old adolescents in the subscales of father and mother care. In the results, we also confirmed a significant difference between adolescents coming from biological families and adolescents coming from divorced families, specifically in the subscale of father care.
